The Solar System | PHYS-1404-11H

Planetology Quiz.045.jpeg

This course, designed for non-science majors, will explore the history of planetary astronomy and our current understanding of the Solar System. {3 lec/3 lab (4 cr.)}.

One thing I'd like to note is, since I'm new, I'm using materials from Dr. Brezill who taught this course before me and ran the planetarium. So as we go through the semester, there may be some things to change. For me this is a jumping off point, as I start to mold the course into my own.

Although there is no math requisite listed, there will be a fair amount of mathematical problem solving in this course.
